We've had our dishwasher for about a week, but it's faster and quieter than our previous model and it looks great! The stainless steel really doesn't show fingerprints and it holds a lot and gets everything very clean.

We purchased this product based on reviews we read. Let me encourage you to NOT purchase a Bosch product. After only 2 years of gentle use, the weld on the top rack broke and the top rack fell off. It is not worth the money.

This is a machine! Powerful, but quiet. Cleans flawlessly. This is my second Bosch dishwasher relationship. My first relationship lasted over 17 years and would have continued if not for the mysterious popcorn kernals and kleenex my husband placed inside it. Needless to say he is banned from even glancing at my second Bosch. Wink Wink

I am impressed with the wash results. There is practically no noise at all which is nice. I do wish there were options for a shorter wash cycle or a rinse. This unit can be a bit awkward to load. Bowls tend to fall over in the spaces, and I wish there were additional fold downs for odd sized/shaped items. In the future, I may go back to a washer with controls outside of the door so it is easier to follow the progress of the wash. This washer is so quiet, if you don't properly hit the start/resume button or someone stops the cycle and forgets to restart, you might not notice for sometime. Overall, I do like the dishwasher.

We remodeled our kitchen 6 years ago and purchased my first dishwasher (I was 67 years old at the time). From the beginning, the dishwasher did a lousy job. I had to go over everything that came out of the dishwasher and inspect it, then handwashing wash most items. I finally had enough and replaced the dishwasher with a Bosch. It's incredible! Everything comes out spotless and glassware looks like it's been polished. I couldn't be happier!

My experience with the capacitance touch controls and the ability to access the rinse aid settings is really bad. In fact, when choosing the fastest cycle, the machine will only allow the standard cycle to progress. The speed 60 setting is not available. Also it is impossible to connect the device to the wifi, to enable monitoring, and easy control as that function no longer works. Switching off the power to the dishwasher and attempting to reset it is ineffective. Numerous calls to the "help" phone number similarly ineffective, the device's controls do not work. The instruction manual is almost impossible to follow. Luckily, so far, the machine does wash dishes. If it finally gives up the ghost, it cannot be repaired, because there's actually no technical help available in New York except from non Bosch trained independent contractors. I refuse to support their learning curve at $180.00/hour.

This Bosch 800 series dishwasher is fantastic! We had an old Kitchen Aid that was having problems so we purchased this Bosch and I couldn't be happier. It's very quiet, it cleans all the dishes weather on the top shelf, middle or bottom and it dries everything including the tops of most glasses. Great product!

This dishwasher is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It is so spacious that I can fit everything in, including large pans. I love the top shelf for the silverware and large utensils. The best part is that it cleans everything perfectly! I love it!!!

Bosch has a reputation for quiet dishwashers, and it certainly is. I have an open concept, so that was very important to me - five stars for that! I've noticed a few pieces of my flatware didn't wash well, and now I feel the need to inspect each piece. I also find the lower rack not to be flexible: great for plates, but not for bowls. I will continue to experiment with how to load it. Thought I would dislike the third rack for flatware, but it's much easier to unload than the baskets. I would buy it again.

I've been coveting a Bosch dishwasher for a long time, but my "builders grade" whirlpool just would not die. I hated it, even though the newest Finish tablet cleaners boosted the cleaning power. I have so many friends and family who own a Bosch, so when I stumbled across the 20% manufacturers discount (plus a rebate from our electric company) I rushed to buy one the day the manufacturers discount was expiring. Everything about the dishwasher is great, from the third tray for silverware, to the ample room for so many things. We use the Auto cycle, it cleans beautifully with the Finish tablets, and it is super quiet. German engineering can't be beat.

However, the design of the inside of the machine is one that I will not purchase in the future. The top rack, well, very useful for getting your silverware clean, is not worth having since it takes away inches from the interior washing space available for tall cups and pants. Also, all of the angled tines make it so that there are not good places to wash large pans. I would say with the interior design of this washing machine, I have to do 50% more loads.

We replaced are old Bosch Dishwasher with a new Bosch. We really like the top level where you can easily put your utinsils. It is much easier to load and unload. We also noticed it is much quieter.

We love this dishwasher. It is ultra quiet, cleans exceptionally well and with the Crystal Dry option, even the tupperware comes out dry.
We did not install it, but had the place we purchased it from install it. From the start the operation was erratic, it would error out with a red faucet light on the control panel. I decided to check it out.
The discharge line was set up across the bottom of the sink cabinet, a 32 inch run, then ran vertically up to the air gap. This is not the way to do it. I reran the hose in the form of a modified W. From the dishwasher I ran it 16 inches across to the top of the sink, fastened it there and dropped the remainder down 9 inches and then up to the air-gap. Since then no problems. MAKE SURE YOUR DISCHARGE LINE IS PROPERLY INSTALLED!

Overall I am happy with our new Bosch 800 series washer. I have always loved the third shelf for silverware. My one disappointment is that something has changed in the design, but I am not sure what as it looks exactly like the old one. However, the silverware is always bouncing out of the slots to hold, and not just when it is running, it seems to stick, or bounce, when pushing it in. I also do not like that the only way to use the delay start is to have the app. I didn't know I was going to have to download another app to use the dishwasher, and unfortunately, several of the features we were expecting can only be accessed if you have the app. Honestly, I probably would not have purchased this washer had I known that. It cleans well, as you would expect from Bosch and it is very quiet, but because of needing the app, I just can't rate it as high as I would like.

The dishwasher washes well, and is quiet, and looks great. The issues that took 2 stars off (1 star each issue) are:
1 - the virtual "buttons" on the top, are too easy to press. Simply putting my hand on the top to close the front door is sometimes enough to accidentally activate the power button. I would like to have physical buttons, and for them to be either on the front, or off to the side of the stop. Off to the side would be where your hand typically won't touch/activate them.
2 - second issue is with the silverware drawer. It can be a little jerky when pulling out or pushing in. I don't know if we just got a bad one, but it feels like the tray/drawer may be misaligned rails that causes it to go in/out at a slight angle and does not slide smoothly. Also the silveryware divider can be moved up or down to produce more slots for silverware. There are two of these, the one of the right is nice and firm - stays in place The one of the left is lose and will easily fall down causing the silverware to not stand/stay in place.

I have owned the dishwasher about 1 month and I am very disappointed in it. It said it had a light touch but I have to press and press to set the cycle. After the first week, the light that comes on when in wash cycle burned out and you cannot tell the dishwasher is on and have to wait and listen for it to start. Also, it does not dry the top rack glasses and cups and I have to dry the tops myself before putting away. Very, very disappointed.

THis is my 4th Bosch dishwasher, from 2 different homes. I love Bosch products, my complaint on this dishwasher is that it runs too long. 1 hour is way too long of a cycle. I had my old dishwasher for over 16 years and it had a 26 minute cycle and it cleaner perfectly. Why the 1 hour cycle now????

Gets my dishes clean in 1/2 the time and holds more due to 3rd row. Love the sanitize cycle. Also I accidentally dropped an bowl to be washed in the drain area and it gave me a text message to revove it. I opened it but didn't see it so it finally gave me a picture of where to remove it. I was looking in the wrong place. One smart machine!

My new Bosch dishwasher does a good job of cleaning dishes, as my old one did. It is even quieter, and it is nicely organized inside. I like the extra drawer on top for small, flat things like spatulas. I have one issue with the appliance. The older models had an easy-to-use delayed start feature. I could push a button on the machine to delay the start for a few hours, so the machine would run after I went to bed. If I wanted to add a forgotten dish before it started, I could do that, just being sure to fully close the door again. With the new model, there is no delayed start feature! I need to use an app on my phone, which works only some of the time. It means that if I am away, my family members have no delayed start option. I t is not possible to add a dish after setting up the delay on the app without causing the program to fail. Then I have to reset the machine and run it manually in the morning. Why on earth would Bosch remove a useful feature and replace it with an inconvenient app?!

My dishwasher is in an open living space, and I couldn't ask for a quieter machine! It's so hard to tell it's operating - it's that quiet! It also does an amazing job washing the dishes. I took off one star because it doesn't do a great job of drying everything. (Would have only taken half a star off if I could). Highly recommend this dishwasher!

3 Levels of cleaning get things very clean. There is a learning curve on how it is best to was knives, forks, and spoons. i like to fill the back of the top shelf first as the larger spaces in the front cause items to move around too much. Also how to stack pots and dishes is different from my old Kitchen Aid. Placing glasses and mugs is a real challenge. The Pullout shelves require more strength to open.

This is my second Bosch and while I love how it cleans dishes, the newest one does have a green light or an indication that the cycle is done and I miss that. I also miss a real manual-uploading the manual may be efficient for the company but problematic for a user who might be willing to pay for a real manual. On this Bosch I am hoping the plastic will hold up well; my previous Bosch had areas of plastic breakage including the soap container. Great product overall but can be improved

Exactly one year after purchasing our Bosch dishwasher (SHP65CM5N), it required a major service call resulting in over $650 in part replacements. This level of unreliability from a premium brand is highly disappointing. We outfitted our entire home remodel with new Bosch appliances, and this experience leaves us incredibly anxious about the longevity of our choices. Based on this premature failure, we can no longer trust or recommend the brand. This will undoubtedly be our last Bosch purchase.

I have used a number of dish washers over the 50 plus years they were made availble to me and the Bosch is by far the Best! It not only is so very quiet, it also is easy to load with dishes, cutlery, bowls, platters and glasses. Everything comes out crystal clear and so very clean. I would recomend this dishwasher to anyone.

Have been a Bosch dishwasher owner since the mid-90's, so when I needed a new dishwasher I wanted a Bosch. Well, I'm happy with the machine, but the controls are a disaster (where is delicate?) and there is no countdown on the front panel? Seriously? Who wants to use an app to control an appliance. Please, just plain and simple with a front panel countdown. So disappointed that practical and helpful things have been dropped. Why????

I owned a 500 series prior to this and it lasted almost 15 years and continued to provide an excellent wash until the day I replaced it with my new 800 series.
I never had issues with it and always felt comfortable loading it with anything that was crusted or stuck on, knowing that my Bosch would get it crystal clean.
I love the new features in the app like tracking your wash cycle and altering you when you are out of rinse aid. I am very pleased with all this brand has done to make a truly remarkable feat of home appliance engineering.

If it wasn't for the fact that it cleans well I absolutely hate the racks and trying to load it. The bottom rack and middle rack suck to load anything big. The tines don't fit anything between them and everything single load is like playing tetris. Not to mention the bottom frame of the basket has massive gaps so even if i wanted to put a large pan in it. It sits between the gaps. Horrible and annoying. Might consider returning it.
