While I absolutely LOVE the look of the black cooktop, I have found it absolutely impossible to clean. Dawn and water on a sponge.....streaks. Vinegar and water.....streaks. Counter cleaner.....streaks. Try each then apply Rainx Glass Cleaner....passable. Waste 5 or 6 paper towels wiping and rewiping....great. By then, you've decided never to fry a quick egg for breakfast or heat up some soup for lunch. It's a nightmare/time waster. If anyone has the magic formula, please post!

Not very impressed. Costs way more than a stove/oven and quality is not even close. Why are the knobs plastic?! The round burners get the cloth stuck to them when trying to clean. Grates are also not as heavy duty compared to the previous model. Wouldn't recommend.

I always loved GE products. My whole kitchen was full with GE appliances. My old cooktop really worked well for 25 yrs and i was really impressed. So i bought new gas cooktop from them. Within 2 yrs. the color of cooktop near burner started to go. I made an appointment with their tech, never came. And it is happening with all other burners. It looks awful.
I will advise not to buy this product if you cook everyday.

I think I have a defective stove. Use propane. Gas guy said nothing wrong in their end. Flames so low that it takes 30 minutes on largest burner to boil water. Have adjusted flame height. Still too low. It™™s so low that the highest setting looks like it™™s on low. Been like this since first installed. I cook every night so this has been so upsetting.

I had planned on purchasing a designer stove, but because of their input, I chose another GE. I am glad I did! I plan on putting in a new kitchen in a few years. Because of my cousin's recommendations, I will probably go with GE.
